Kindergarten Registration Forms are now available. Please see theKindergarten page on this website for more details.

Kindergarten forms can be turned in at the schools between April 2nd and April 27th.

In the 2/15 Board Meeting, the Board Members recognized Alexis Dowdell as a Published Author. Miss Dowdell is a 9th grader at LaFayette High School. Her book is a thriller entitled Dream Bound Secrets: The Restoration of Elasia, which also includes a vocabulary list so that it can be tied to instruction in the classroom. Congratulations Alexis…we look forward to reading your next creation. Pictured with Alexis are her Mother, Brother and the county’s School Improvement Specialist Sharon Weldon.


 

 

On February 9th, the State board of Education met at the Gordon Persons Building and recognized schools in Alabama who had met the Healthier US School Challenge Initiative.  Resolutions were read and presented to the Board by each school system's board member.  Shown being recognized for Chambers County's Healthier US Challenge award were Mr. Perry Fulton, State Director of Child Nutrition; Mr. Tommy Bice, State Superintendent of Education; Ms. Betty Peters, District II Board member; Mrs. Donna Pike, Chambers County Child Nutrition Director; Dr. Kelli Tucker, Superintendent of Chambers County Schools; Mrs. Teresa Bookwalter, manager of Five Points Elementary School's Child Nutrition Program; Mrs. Rhonda Givins, Five Points Elementary Principal; and Mr. Steve Horton, USDA Southeastern Division Director

Parent Portal
